When you see a consistent queue of patrons waiting through rain and shine to get seated at an unassuming little orange eatery - the answer is obvious. The food is magical. Lucky for us, being nearly 10 minutes walk from home we’ve been here over ten, scratch that, maybe fifteen times! The ramen tastes slurpingly delicious and is the closest thing to Tokyo ramen* you can find in good ole shee-doh-nee**. The food never disappoints and the prices are down to earth. If you’re a ramen snob I dare you!

* They do quiet a variety, not just the Tokyo ramen

If you planning to try Ryo’s noodles GO EARLY to avoid disappointment and hunger pangs. The queue generally moves fast. I have a few favourites here of course No 8 - the spicy ramen is to die for. And among the side dish - the deep fried chicken and gyoza! They put you on an express rocket to foodie nirvana! You might need to starve the next few days to bring back your calorie zen :) Somebody please explain how Japanese women have such petite waistlines!
